Scheduled road works will be taking place at various locations across Calne in the forthcoming days - we have taken a look at the ones most likely to cause delays to your journey.
From tomorrow - 1st May until 3rd May, Open Reach will be working along Curzon Street, Greenacres Way and Chilvester Hill. Multi-way traffic management will be in operation. Expect delays and allow extra time for travel and bus journeys heading to and from Chippenham - especially if planning onward train travel.
Both ends of Oxford Road have planned works from Wessex Water - lower end (town centre) from today until 1st May, and top end works from Wales & West will run from 8th to 14th May. Two-way traffic management in operation.
Stockley Lane east to Blacklands and Blacklands Crossroads East To Calstone Wellington is closed until the 5th July as Wessex Waters install water mains.
Lower Road in Compton there will be a road closure from the junction with Spreckley Road Northeast to junction with Marsh Lane from 3rd to 7th July.
A4 London Road Cherhill East To Turning North For Yatesbury from 7th to 9th May as Wiltshire Council complete works. Stop/Go boards will control traffic flow.
London Road A4 just past the cemetary toward Chippenham temporary traffic lights will be in operation from 11th to 12th May .
