LIDL stores seem to be like buses in Calne, none for ages and then two are set to arrive at the same time.
Plans have been submitted for a secondary Lidl store which, if approved will be built in the field adjacent to the Lidl already in progress.
Senior Lidl creator, Mr Gallagher told us: "We won't let this opportunity slide away, if you are married with children, these stores will be supersonic, it might not please everyone, but don't look back in anger, by tomorrow morning - glory will be ours!"
The submission will be discussed at a special talk tonight "If objectors acquiesce, planners will be popping their champagne supernova at getting this masterplan into action" Mr Gallagher added.
One resident commented: "Some might say there is no need for two Lidl shops in Calne but let's roll with it, I will probably visit for my cigarettes and alcohol."
Another added: "Lidl seem to be popping up all around the world and right here in Calne, there will be a Lidl by Lidl."
