Emergency services are currently on the scene in Calne High Street following an incident.
Police, ambulance and fire crews are attending and police have closed the road to traffic while the response is ongoing.
An air ambulance has also landed at St Mary's school grounds.
A cordon is in place and members of the public are being asked to avoid the area while emergency services carry out their work.
Witnesses report that a privacy screen has been put up at the scene.
At this stage, the nature of the incident has not been officially confirmed.
