A Calne man has appeared in court this month following his arrest for suspected drink driving.

Joshua Masters, 26, of Stokes Croft, Calne, was arrested during the morning of 18th June following concerns that he was drink driving.

A Roads Policing officer arrested him in Bishop Road after he was found behind the wheel of an Audi A4 smelling of alcohol.

Masters was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and driving without insurance.

He appeared in court on 21st July and was given a three year driving disqualification, and ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £48 surcharge.
