The winners of this year's Calne in Bloom Awards have been announced following an awards evening held by Calne Town Council on Thursday 17th September.
Overall Winner Darren Wilson receives his prize from Calne Town Mayor Tim Havenith
The annual competition celebrates the gardens, allotments, hanging baskets and community projects that help bring colour and greenery to the town, with residents and local groups recognised for their work throughout the year.
The evening was hosted by Rob Mercer, Amenities, Conservation and Sustainability Manager, alongside judges from the Town Council's Grounds Team, with the awards presented by Calne Town Mayor Cllr Tim Havenith.
Town Mayor Tim Havenith told us: "Calne in Bloom is always one of the absolute highlights on the council calendar. Each year I am in awe of the creativity and horticultural pride on show across our town, especially seeing how the entrants gardens evolve and develop over the years, as well as the community spaces that brighten our local areas.
"My thanks and congratulations go to every resident and local group that entered, as well as to our Calne Town Council staff for their hard work in judging the entries and managing the awards evening."

- Rosemary Coomes Sustainability Cup: Sarah Brewis
- Best Hanging Basket: Rosemarie Southern
- Best Front Garden: Darren Wilson
- Best Back Garden: Devon Wood
- Best Allotment: David Court
- Best in Show: Darren Wilson
- Best Community Project: Family Action - Wiltshire Community Support and Outreach Service, Mill Race
Darren Wilson was a double winner on the evening, taking both Best Front Garden and Best in Show.
The evening also saw the winner of the Tree of the Year Competition 2026 announced.
Stan Annis won this year's competition after nominating the Lodgepole Pine in Holy Trinity Churchyard.
Calne Town Council congratulated all of this year's winners and thanked everyone who took part in the Calne in Bloom and Tree of the Year competitions.
