A Calne man has admitted seriously injuring a cyclist in a collision in Corsham earlier this year.
Cameron Patey, 27, of Derry Hill, appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 15th October, where he pleaded guilty to causing serious injury and failing to report the incident.
The collision happened on Easton Lane, Corsham, at around 9.30pm on 18th March. Patey was driving a blue Audi S3 when it collided with a woman riding a bicycle, leaving her seriously injured.
He was also charged with failing to report the collision to police within 24 hours.
Following his guilty pleas, Patey was disqualified from driving on an interim basis.
He is due to return to Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 2nd December.
