Residents are being invited to comment on revised plans for a proposed 90-home housing development on land east of Spitfire Road after a series of amended documents were submitted to Wiltshire Council.
The latest revisions form part of a reserved matters application by Allison Homes, which sets out the detailed design of the development. While outline planning permission for up to 100 homes on the site was granted on appeal in 2025, the current application deals with matters including the layout, appearance, landscaping, scale and access.
The proposed development includes 90 homes, 27 of which would be affordable, together with public open space, a children's play area, landscaping, internal roads, footpaths, parking and sustainable drainage features. The plans also include a new vehicular access from Spitfire Road and the demolition of existing structures on the site.
Since the application was first submitted earlier this year, the developer has provided a number of amended drawings and supporting documents. Wiltshire Council has now reopened the public consultation to give residents the opportunity to comment on the latest revisions.
The consultation is due to close on 31st July, after which planning officers will consider all representations before a decision is made on the application.
The amended plans and supporting documents can be viewed on Wiltshire Council's planning portal under reference PL/2026/00135.
