Calne town centre is set to burst into colour on Saturday as Calneval of Colour returns with a packed programme of entertainment, live music, community activities and carnival fun.
This year's event will feature a refreshed layout, with food and drink vendors, craft makers and community organisations spread across The Wharf, The Strand and Bank Row, giving visitors even more to explore throughout the day.
Colourful walkabout performances from the Spring-a-Lings and the Pirates, Seahorses, Sirens and Parrots will bring the town centre to life, while families can enjoy interactive art activities in the Pocket Park, storytelling sessions on The Wharf, arts and crafts in the Town Hall and circus skills workshops with Clare's Circus on The Green.

Live music will provide the soundtrack to the day, with performances from Oscar Millais, Claire Ann Bradfield and Luke & Ash.
St Mary's Church will once again host its popular Teddy Bear Parachute Jump in support of the St Mary's Church Project 2026, while The Green, the Pocket Park, the Town Hall and St Mary's Church will all host activities throughout the celebrations.
Erin, Calne Town Council's Events Officer and organiser of Calneval, said: "We're delighted to welcome everyone to Calneval of Colour 2026.
"This event is all about bringing our community together to celebrate creativity, colour and everything that makes Calne special. We hope visitors enjoy exploring the town, supporting local organisations and making lasting memories throughout the day."

The highlight of the day, the annual float procession, will kick off at 4:30pm with participants marching from Porte Marsh Industrial Estate, along Oxford Road, Wood Street, The Strand, and culminating on New Road, the procession is expected to arrive in the town centre at approximately 4.50pm.
Featuring walking groups and decorated floats inspired by this year's theme of 'Colour', the procession will provide a spectacular finale to the day's festivities.
To ensure a smooth and safe event, several road closures will be in place.
High Street will be closed from 12 noon to 6.45pm
A4 roundabout on Curzon Road - Strand up to the New Road roundabout 12.30pm to 6.45pm
Market Hill from 4pm to 6.45pm
Bank Row from 12 noon to 7pm

Public transport will be affected. There will be no 55 service through the closure and 42 and 33 will run through town until 1.30pm - resuming after 6.45pm.
Calne Town Council expressed gratitude for the support of the event's headline sponsors, Deceuninck and T.W Skuse & Son Transport who provide the floats.
