Calne Town Council has announced the appointment of Sally Thurston as its new Director of Council Services.
Sally brings more than 20 years' experience in senior local government leadership and will begin the role on a phased basis over the summer.
Town Mayor Cllr Tim Havenith said: "I am delighted to welcome Sally Thurston to the team as our new Director of Council Services. Following a rigorous recruitment process, she stood out for her exceptional commitment to values-led, community-focused public service.
"Her strategic vision will be invaluable as she guides our priorities, manages our financial planning, and leads our dedicated officer team."
Sally said: "I am delighted to have been appointed as Calne Town Council's Director of Council Services. I am looking forward to getting to know the community, supporting local initiatives, and working with councillors, residents and partners for the benefit of our town.
