The first Calne Pride event took place on Saturday, 1st June as the newly made Calne Town Mayor, Cllr Jon Fisher accompanied by his wife and consort Tara, led a colourful parade through Calne town centre and then to the Recreation Ground for a day full of fun, colour and music.
The Calne Pride Committee have been working hard to make the event happen since October 2023 and the day did not disappoint.
Crowds enjoyed a variety of live music acts including the PSG Choir and Kylie Alike, there was singing, dancing, stalls, food and drink combining to make the inaugral event, a massive success.
The committee will be taking a short break now before work begins on Calne Pride 2025.
