An area of Castlefields in Calne was cordoned off this morning as emergency services attended an incident.
Emergency services responded to reports of an unresponsive male by a bench in Castlefields, at about 4.45am this morning.
A cordon remained in place for a time while police and a private ambulance were at the scene, leading to questions from residents about what had happened.
Wiltshire Police have since confirmed the incident relates to the sudden death of a man in his 20s.
A spokesperson said: "This relates to the sudden death of a man in his 20s. There are no suspicious circumstances and our thoughts are with his family."
