Beversbrook Sports and Community Facility will be closed overnight for four evenings next week while essential resurfacing works are carried out on the A3102.
The temporary closures will be in place from 7pm until 6am each night between Tuesday 7th July and Friday 10th July, meaning there will be no vehicle access to or from the site during those hours.
Anyone using the facility will need to leave before the works begin, with all vehicles required to exit by 6.45pm each evening to allow contractors to start resurfacing the road safely.
The closures will also affect Beversbrook allotment holders, as there will be no vehicle access to the allotments while the works are taking place overnight.
Calne Town Council said the closures are necessary because there will be no safe access to the site while contractors resurface the main A3102. It has apologised for the short notice and said it is working with clubs and other hirers to bring bookings forward where possible to reduce disruption.
The facility is expected to reopen each morning at 6am once the overnight works have finished.
