SILVER Street in Calne was briefly blocked by a police presence on Saturday morning when officers stopped a vehicle with four men who had been reported following an incident earlier that day in Trowbridge.
On 22nd March four men visited a shop in Wicker Hill, Trowbridge where they were soon asked to leave by the store manager.
Once outside the store, the men threatend another man with metal poles from their vehicle before leaving.
Police officers stopped the car in Silver Street and made the men, aged 23, 24, 26 and 38 were arrested on suspicion of affray.
A police spokesperson told us: “The men have been bailed while enquiries continue.”
