The trustees of Marden Community Hub have said they are thrilled to be signing the lease on 27 High Street this week, with plans to open the hub as soon as possible.

The community hub promises to be a vibrant and welcoming space, offering a range of goods and activities.

"We'll have cards for every occasion, best-quality wrapping paper and gift bags, new items for pets and babies, and a variety of crafts," said Carol Lavery.

"We're also inviting crafters to get in touch if they'd like to sell their wares in our hub."

The hub will span two floors, with plans to host craft classes, sewing classes, and other activities.

To celebrate its reopening, the hub is also planning to host a special VE Day event with 1940s treats.

Carol expressed her gratitude to everyone who has supported the hub during its closure. "Thanks to everyone who has given us storage and helped – you're all fantastic!" she said.

Stay tuned for updates on the hub's reopening and grand opening celebrations!
