A Calne town centre store is set to close this month after a popular discount retail chain fell into administration.
The Original Factory Shop went into administration in January, placing the future of its 137 stores and 1,180 staff in doubt.
Since then, branches across the country have been holding closing down sales, with some stores already shutting for good.
It has now been confirmed that the Calne branch will close for the final time on Sunday 22nd March.
The Calne branch has been running a closing down sale, with major reductions across a range of stock, including 40% off gardening items and 30% off home items.
Administrators said The Original Factory Shop’s financial difficulties were caused by tough trading conditions, including high cost inflation, fragile consumer confidence and rising labour costs.
