Police are investigating reports that a duck was deliberately run over by a motorist in a Calne car park.
The incident is believed to have taken place in Lower Pippin car park and was reported to officers last week.
Police say the driver is suspected of intentionally driving over the animal. CCTV footage from the area is currently being reviewed as part of ongoing enquiries.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is urged to contact police.
