POLICE are appealing to Calne residents who may have witnessed a fail to stop collision this morning (12/7).

The incident happened in Prince Charles Drive at 8.30am as a woman in her 30's was dropping off her children at Priestley Primary School.

Police say the woman was hit by a van and sustained an injury to her shoulder, the driver failed to stop and left the scene.

A police spokesperson said: "The incident happened during school drop-off and we would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, including anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who may have dash cam footage which could assist our enquiries."

The woman's injuries are not thought to be serious.
