Road closures are in place on the A4 between the junction with the A342 and Pewsham/Chippenham this morning following a serious RTC in the early hours.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 3am this morning after a vehicle had crashed into the side of a house in Derry Hill and subsequently caught fire.
Police, ambulance crews and fire crews attended the incident.
The road remains closed this morning as officers work at the scene.
The condition of the occupants of the car is currently unknown however, early reports suggest up to four may have been in the car.
Police are asking for people to stay away from the area and not gather at the cordons.
Wiltshire Police would like anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any relevant information should call 101 and quote log number 64 of today.
