A fail to stop for police in Calne led to a RTC in Derry Hill this morning.

The driver, a man in his late teens failed to stop for officers and an authorised pursuit followed. The vehicle was then involved in a RTC at about 10.25am this morning on Chapel Street, Derry Hill, near Calne.

The teen was taken to hospital with injuries to his leg, but police say his injuries are not thought to be life changing or threatening.

He has since been arrested for a number of driving offences - failing to stop, dangerous driving, driving without a licence or insurance and taking without consent.

Wiltshire Police are investigating the circumstances around the collision and have made a referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), as is mandatory following serious injury involving police involvement.
