Police are investigating the theft of two keyless cars that were taken in the early hours of this morning in Calne. (10/6)

Both the cars were Mercedes models, one was stolen from Azalia Close and one from Magnolia Rise between 1am and 2am this morning.

As with the thefts in  Melksham and Chippenham we reported on last week, the thieves didn't enter the homes in order to take the keys and police believe they used a frequency scanner to steal both cars.

Police are carrying out enquiries and would like anyone who may have doorbell camera footage or CCTV in the area to get in touch.

A spokesperson for the police said: "We continue to urge residents who own keyless cars to purchase a Faraday pouch to keep keys inside to help prevent incidents of this nature taking place."
