Police rushed to the town centre this afternoon following reports of a disorder involving a group of youths.
Police were called to reports of a large fight involving a group of youths in The Pippin, Calne shortly after 3pm.
Calne Police have said: "It is believed one male has sustained a minor injury. Enquiries are currently ongoing. Anyone with information should call 101 and quote log number 206 of today."
An eyewitness told us they saw a big fight involving a large gang of youths which spilled into the Church Street area.
Another onlooker said "I heard it was a gang of kids from Devizes who came looking for a Calne boy who is part of a larger group in Calne, they obviously found him."
The group who are alleged to have started the fight are said to have arrived at the scene wearing face coverings and witnesses say some were armed with blades.
Police officers remained in town until 5.30pm to keep the groups separated as they continued to shout abuse at each other. The group from Devizes left by bus shortly afterwards.
It us believed police have made at least one arrest.
This evening several parents have said their children have seen a video of the incident currently circulating on social media.
