An appeal for witnesses has been issued after shrubs were ripped up and thrown onto tennis courts at the Recreation Ground in Calne.
The vandalism happened at the new play area at around 5pm on Monday 11th May.
A number of newly planted shrubs were pulled from the ground and dumped onto the courts, causing what Calne Town Council described as “significant damage”.
A spokesperson for the council said the incident had impacted recent improvement work carried out at the site by the Town Grounds Team.
