PARENTS and guardians are being reminded to make sure they have applied for their child's secondary school place as the deadline is today, 31st October 2024.
If your child is due to start secondary school education in September 2025, make sure you submit your application by midnight tonight.
You can apply for three schools, with the school that is preferred most to be set as the first choice, but the council recommends that parents fill out all three preferences.
You can apply for a secondary school place for September 2025 for a child born between 1st September 2013 and 31st August 2014, from 1st September 2024 until 11.59pm on 31st October 2024.
The offer day will be 3rd March, 2025 and the deadline day for then accepting an offer is 17th March.
