More than 3,300 prospective students and their families have attended open events at Wiltshire College & University Centre this year, with the college reporting an increase in applications ahead of September.
The events were held across the college's four campuses in Chippenham, Lackham, Salisbury and Trowbridge, giving visitors the chance to explore facilities, meet staff and learn more about available courses.

Wiltshire College said applications are currently ahead of where they were at the same stage last year, with many visitors either applying after attending an event or planning to submit an application.
Feedback from attendees highlighted the opportunity to speak directly with lecturers and learn more about college life.
At the Salisbury campus, one visitor said: "This was an incredible experience. This college has everything and more and is the best place I've ever seen. It is filled with so many opportunities and it is way better than I expected it to be."
A prospective student who attended events at Chippenham said they had returned for a third visit to meet lecturers again despite already having applied.
At Trowbridge, one parent praised the way staff interacted with students.
They said: "Every member of staff we saw was welcoming, friendly and approachable. I loved how they spoke to my son treating him like an individual and a young man, which massively made a difference in how he felt about college."
Visitors to the Lackham campus also praised the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the courses available.
Dave West, Executive Director of Growth and Engagement at Wiltshire College & University Centre, said: "Choosing your next step is a big decision for any young person and their family, so it's fantastic to see so many people engaging with our open events this year.
"What really stands out from the feedback is how welcomed and supported visitors felt when they came onto our campuses."
Applications remain open for some courses starting in September 2026.
