Calne Town Council’s Bonfire & Firework Night will return to Beversbrook Sports & Community Facility on Friday 6th November, with a fantastic evening of entertainment, fairground rides, food and activities planned for families.

There will be plenty happening around the site before the fireworks, with activities for younger visitors, face painting, a funfair and entertainment alongside a range of food and drink, with Deceuninck supporting this year’s event as headline sponsor.

Inside the community hall, children can make their own rockets, try colouring and mask making, or take part in free face painting and glitter tattoos from Crazy Cheeks.

A quiet room will also be available for anyone who would prefer somewhere away from the noise and crowds.

Outside, Jennings Funfair will be bringing its rides and attractions back to Beversbrook, while Mr Glow will be there with his collection of light-up toys.

Visitors can also look out for Calvos, the light-up stilt walker, who will be making his way around the event during the evening.

There will be plenty of choice when it comes to food and drink too, with A1 Ices, Calne Lions, Pasty Cove, FHC, Lades Bakes and Scouting for Coffee all taking part.

Ice cream, burgers, pasties, churros, wood-fired pizza, baked goods and hot and cold drinks will all be available.

A council bar will also be available, with Challenge 25 in operation for anyone purchasing alcoholic drinks.

Then, as the evening draws to a close, the attention will turn to the bonfire and fireworks. This year’s Guy will be paraded to the bonfire at 6.20pm before the bonfire is lit at 6.30pm.

The evening will finish with the firework display from Anytime Fireworks.

Calne Town Council said: “We’re really excited to bring Calne Bonfire & Firework Night back to Beversbrook for another fantastic evening. There’s something for everyone this year, from free activities and entertainment for children to the funfair, fantastic food and, of course, the spectacular fireworks. It’s always a highlight in the town’s calendar and we can’t wait to welcome the community for another memorable night.”

The event takes place on Friday 6th November at Beversbrook Sports & Community Facility. Gates open at 5.30pm, with the fireworks expected at around 7pm.

Tickets are being sold in advance and numbers are limited.

Tickets cost £10 for those aged 17 and over and £6 for children aged 6–16. Children under five can attend free of charge, but still require a ticket.

With the activities, funfair and food available before the fireworks, families are encouraged to arrive early and make an evening of it.

Free parking is available at Deceuninck, using the car park opposite Altex only, and at Altex, which is adjacent to the Beversbrook facility on the Porte Marsh Industrial Estate. There is no public parking within Beversbrook itself.

A shuttle bus will also be available through Calne Community Transport, running from the Town Hall layby to Gateway, Beversbrook. Return tickets cost £2 per person, regardless of age, with seats available on a first-come, first-served basis. Under-5s cannot use the shuttle bus.

The return service will run from the end of the firework display until 8.45pm.
