Calne Pocket Park & Garden has announced an exciting spring and summer events program, packed with free activities for all to enjoy.

John Boaler, Chairman of Calne Pocket Park & Garden, commented: “We have just had our licence renewed for a further 3 years and are pleased to announce an exciting programme of events over the coming months."

The park, which has become a popular outdoor community venue, will host various events, including:

Easter Holiday Activity Morning: 17th April, a fun-filled morning with free activities for all.

Duck Race Day: 17th May, featuring community group stalls, a children's activity, and a pop-up cafe.

Chess Activities: 25th May, launching chess activities for all abilities, including beginners.

Free Entertainment: First Sundays of the month from June to September, featuring new acts, including:  Calne Ukelele Band: 1st June - Frankie, Professional Singer: 6th July - Hips & Haws Clog Dancers: 3rd August , with a workshop - Chippenham Allsorts Choir: 7th September, with a workshop (to be confirmed)

Children's Events The park will also host two special events for children during the summer holidays  - The Last Baguette Children's Theatre Group: 28th July, performing "Bin Rat" at the Pocket Park and North End play park. - Michael Loader, Professional Storyteller: 18th August, with a backup venue at Calne Library in case of bad weather.
