A production written and performed by two local writers has been selected to be showcased at Dorchester Arts’ third annual The Script’s The Thing festival in October.
Of Kith and Kin has been written by Calne writers Paul Ogden and Steve C. Walters and will be showcased during the festival, which takes place in Dorchester on 10th and 11th October.
The festival has been described as a mini-Edinburgh Festival, giving writers the opportunity to present pieces of productions they have been working on.
It brings writers together with promoters, directors, theatre companies and others working in the arts.
Of Kith and Kin explores the relationship between people, families, communities and the land on which they live, using prose, poetry, pictures and music.
Written and performed by Paul and Steve, the production promises to take audiences on a timeless journey, leaving them with plenty to reflect upon.
The full production will have its premiere at The Pound in Corsham on 18th November.
