Families are being invited to take part in a day of free creative activities during the February half-term.
The Wyvern Theatre will host its annual Family Fun Day on Saturday 21st February, offering a programme designed to entertain children and adults throughout the day.
Visitors will be able to take part in craft activities, enjoy free face painting provided by Pitstop Parties and try their hand at circus skills during drop-in workshops. Story and rhyme sessions hosted by the National Literacy Trust will also be held, encouraging reading and storytelling in a relaxed setting.
Backstage tours will give attendees the chance to see behind the scenes of the theatre and learn how productions are staged, while a Dinosaur Fact Trail will guide families around the venue with prehistoric-themed activities.
Prime Youth Theatre and CAN Studios will also lead a series of dance and drama workshops. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
Organisers say the event provides an opportunity for families to explore the theatre, try new activities and spend time together in a creative environment.
