A retirement development in Calne is inviting local over-60s and their families to enjoy a free summer afternoon of food, music and games later this month.
Churchill Living's Orchard Lodge, on The Pippin, will host a 'Picnic on the Patio' event on Thursday, 13th August, from 2pm to 4pm.
Guests will be able to enjoy live music, picnic food, ice cream, cocktails and garden games in the development's communal gardens. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet residents already living at Orchard Lodge and hear about their experiences of independent retirement living.

Orchard Lodge offers one and two-bedroom retirement apartments, available to rent or buy, and includes facilities such as a communal lounge, guest suite for visiting family and friends, an on-site Lodge Manager and a 24-hour emergency Careline service.
The event is free to attend, but places should be booked in advance.
