Thirty teams recently battled it out in a packed Neeld Community and Arts Centre in Chippenham in the autumn quiz held by the Melksham, Calne & Chippenham (MCC) Branch of the Trust.
In a closely fought contest 3 teams tied at the end of the quiz and, after tie break questions, team ‘Mrs MB & Friends’ came out as victors.
An incredible £900 was raised during the evening which will go towards the continuing restoration of the Wilts & Berks Canal work.
Howard Wilson from Wilts & Berks Canal Trust said: "Our thanks to all our volunteers who made this quiz happen and especially to all the teams who took part in what proved to be a very successful and, we hope, fun evening."
