Party on the Pitch returns to Calne Town FC

Calne Town Football Club hosts its annual Party on the Pitch event on Saturday, bringing a day of live music, food, drink and entertainment to Bremhill View.

Now in its 9th year, the popular event has become a regular fixture in the town's summer calendar, with live performances throughout the day alongside festival-style food and drink.

Family Fun Day at Hazeland

Families looking to get outdoors this weekend can head to Hazeland for a day of nature-based activities and family fun on Saturday.

A packed programme of activities designed to help children explore the outdoors, discover wildlife and enjoy time in nature. The event is aimed at families of all ages and offers the chance to spend a day in the countryside while taking part in hands-on activities.

 

Little Pickles Market returns to Beversbrook

Pick up a bargain at the Little Pickles Market at Beversbrook Sports Facility on Saturday afternoon.

The nearly-new sale will feature baby and children's clothes, toys, books and equipment, with dozens of stalls offering pre-loved items at reduced prices. Entry is £1.50 for adults and children go free. The market runs from 2.30pm until 4pm.

 

BMWs at Atwell Wilson Motor Museum

Car enthusiasts can head to Atwell Wilson Motor Museum on Sunday for a special BMW Car Club Great Britain gathering. The event will feature a display of BMW vehicles, a show and shine competition and raffle, with entry from 9.30am. Visitors can also explore the museum's collection of classic vehicles, with gourmet burgers, coffee and an ice cream van available throughout the day. Admission to the event is free, with normal museum entry charges applying for those wishing to visit the museum itself.

A riot of colour at Talos Art Gallery

Art lovers can explore Talos Art Gallery's Summer Exhibition 2026, which is running until 5th July at the gallery near Heddington. This year's exhibition, themed A Riot of Colour, brings together paintings, sculptures and installations from more than 20 artists, displayed throughout the gallery's restored farm buildings and sculpture gardens. Visitors can browse the artwork at their own pace, enjoy the surrounding countryside and stop by the on-site teahouse for homemade cakes, lunches and refreshments.

Pride celebrations begin at The Ruze

Chippenham PrideFest gets underway on Friday evening with Lashing Out at The Ruze. The event, which runs from 6.30pm until 11pm, features drag performer Sheila Tackya in a show celebrating four decades of queer culture and marks the start of a packed Pride weekend across the town. 

A packed line-up of live music is heading to The Ruze on Saturday as part of Chippenham PrideFest. Bands and artists performing include Big Mambo, The Crystal Wolf Project, The Real Cheesemakers, Kodachrome, The Limia and Aubrey Blakeledge, with music running from 4pm onwards.
