Families are invited to join Wiltshire Air Ambulance's aircrew for a cuppa and cake during the summer holidays.

The event will take place on Wednesday 30 July, a week after the schools break up for the summer, making it a perfect opportunity for all the family.

Visitors will have the chance to enjoy a cuppa and some cake with the pilots, doctors and critical care paramedics who carry out the charity’s lifesaving work across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas.

Tickets costs £10 for adults, £6 for under-12s, or £30 for a family ticket (two adults, two children) and can be purchased online via wiltshireairambulance.co.uk/brew.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance's fundraising manager Fraser Normington said: "Our Brew with the Crew events always prove extremely popular with adults and children alike.

"This is another great opportunity for families to come together in the summer holidays with a trip
to visit their local air ambulance base.

“We can’t wait to welcome people, young and old, to the airbase for a brew with our aircrew, offering everyone a chance to learn more about the lifesaving service carried out on a daily basis."

Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity which provides Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS)
across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas.

It costs £4.5 million a year to keep the air ambulance flying and saving lives. Wiltshire Air Ambulance receives no regular direct Government funding or National Lottery grants, so relies on generous donations from the public and local businesses.
