Serbian accordionist Milos is returning to our Marden House Concerts by popular demand. He was awarded a full scholarship from the Royal Academy of Music where he was the first accordionist ever to win the RAM Club Prize open to all instrumentalists and was winner of the prestigious Derek Butler Prize at the Wigmore Hall. He has appeared with orchestras and opera companies. In 2023 he was selected to work with the London Symphony Orchestra for their Jerwood Composer showcase. He regularly performs with guitarist Craig Ogden and violinists David Juritz and Lizzie Ball, and has performed tango live on the BBC Strictly Come Dancing programme. Milos will feature transcriptions and original works written for the classical accordion including works by Bach and Scarlatti.
