Step fully into spring with another banging comedy night at The Piggy Bank in Calne on Tuesday 14th April.
Headlining is the brilliant Jay Handley. Jay used to make beautiful sculpted oak furniture before jacking it all in to become a comedian instead. A decision that has been financially catastrophic. That said he does get to perform all over the country at some of its very best venues. These include The Glee Club, Jongleurs, The Stand, The Comedy Store & Baby Blue.
Clearly, what he has lost financially he has gained artistically. He covers a range of topics incorporating observational, anecdotal and confessional styles.
Supporting Jay is the awesome Stephen Carlin. Stephen is a hilarious Scottish comedian who has received great critical acclaim, accolades and a growing fanbase with his original and insightful writing style and accomplished delivery. He is a very enigmatic act, using a unique pattern of delivery to amuse the audience with very unexpected and off the wall references. Award winning Ryan Lewis completes the bill with his over enthusiastic storytelling!
The impressive Ross Smith is MC. His personable, relaxed style and contemporary material, underpinned by clever wordplay and self deprecating humour, has made him one of the country's most exciting emerging acts and quick-witted hosts.
Acts subject to change. Over 18s only.
