This will be our last music event as owners of any pub and having had Rob and co play for us at so many venues over the years, it was for us our only choice to fill that slot. It's entirely possible of course that Malc might join in on harmonica!
Delighted to bring Rob over from the Welsh Valleys along with his bandmates, 2 of which are strangely enough from Calne!
Many years ago I (Malc) was performing at various venues across the south west and often on the same bill as Rob. We were the first to bring him to Wiltshire back in 2011 when we put him on the line-up for Seend Acoustic Festival and since then he's had regular gigs in the county and is almost always featured at Trowbridge Festival so he's built quite a following.
For us he's one of the best songwriters in the UK and like so many, doesn't have anywhere near the recognition that he should have either as a writer or a superb singer and you'll most certainly agree when you see him.
Doors open 6.30pm, show starts 7.30pm, ends 9.45 approx. Seating for 50, standing 10 on first come first serve basis.
