Residents in Calne are being invited to share their views as the NHS and local partners develop plans to improve how health and care services are delivered in local communities.

The initiative aims to make services easier to access, faster to use and better connected, with more support available closer to where people live.

Under the proposals, health and care providers want to ensure people can get help earlier, avoid having to repeat their story to multiple services, and access more support locally rather than having to rely on hospital care.

The plans also aim to bring together health services, social care, council teams and charities so they can work more closely around individuals and families.

Before any changes are made, organisers say they want to hear directly from residents about their experiences of using health and care services.

Feedback from the public will help shape the emerging Neighbourhood Health plans, which aim to improve how support is delivered in local communities.

Residents are encouraged to share their views through a short online survey.
