AN 8-year-old boy was left with several injuries following a hit and run in Potterne on Friday 4th October.

The boy had been riding his bike along Blackberry Lane at about 8.20am on the 4th October when a navy or green VW Polo/Golf shape car hit his bike and then drove off at speed.

The child fell from his bike on impact and had a head injury and several other injuries, he was checked over by ambulance staff but luckily, was not seriously injured.

At around 8.20am on October 4 on Blackberry Lane an 8-year-old boy was cycling along the lane when a car hit his bike, causing him to fall off.
