Appeal for witnesses and dash cam following fatal A419 collision

POLICE have issued an appeal for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fatal collision on the A419 at the junction with the M4 last Tuesday (02/01).

Shortly before 11pm, a Vauxhall Astra travelled up the slip road from the M4 eastbound before colliding with the roundabout at the junction.

An occupant of the vehicle, who has now been formally identified as 17-year-old Jamie Donnelly from Swindon, was sadly declared dead at the scene.

Police are appealing for anybody who witnessed the collision or may have dash cam footage from either the A419 roundabout or the M4 to please get in touch.
