A search for a missing 81-year-old man in Chippenham this morning ended sadly today when police confirmed they had found a body.
Michael, 81, was reported missing this morning from his home near Greenway Lane.
Officers carried out extensive enquiries following the initial report but sadly, a body was found at 10.30am.
Police say they don't believe there to be any suspicious circumstances at this early stage.
A spokesperson added: "Michael’s family have been informed and are being supported by officers. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time."
