A pet sitter with around 10 years of experience has joined a growing pet care business serving customers in Calne and the surrounding area.
Danny Morgan, 43, recently moved from London to Wiltshire and has joined Birddog Catwalk, which provides pet sitting, dog walking and drop-in visits.
Danny had already been working as a pet sitter for around a decade before moving to the area and was keen to continue working with animals after relocating.
He discovered Birddog Catwalk through social media and said the business felt like a good fit.
“I'd been looking after pets for around ten years before joining Birddog Catwalk,” Danny said.
“After moving to the Calne area, I came across Holly and Birddog Catwalk on social media and it felt like exactly the sort of company I wanted to be part of.”
Danny said building trust with pet owners is an important part of his work, particularly when looking after animals in their own homes.
“Leaving your pets and home in someone else's hands is a huge responsibility, and it's something I never take lightly,” he said.
“My job is to make sure owners feel completely comfortable while they're away, and that their pets can stick to their normal routines, stay relaxed and receive the very best care.”
Outside of pet sitting, Danny enjoys walking in the countryside, going to the cinema, writing and following football. He also volunteers with a local food bank.
Birddog Catwalk was founded by Holly Bird, who started the business from her home in Malmesbury.
Holly said Danny's experience and approach to pet care made him a good addition to the team.
“His experience, calm approach and genuine love for animals make him a fantastic fit for the business,” she said.
“Our clients trust us with some of the most important members of their family, so having people like Danny, who understand that responsibility and genuinely care about every animal they look after, is incredibly important.”
Birddog Catwalk provides pet sitting, dog walking and drop-in visits across North Wiltshire, Bath and the Cotswolds, with overnight care also available further afield.
The business currently supports families, couples and homeowners who need someone to look after their pets while they are away.
