Leading Wiltshire-based genealogy and heir tracing firm, Family Wise, has announced the addition of Erin Staples to its growing team.
Erin, 24, joins the company as an Assistant Case Manager.
Erin, a resident of Quemerford, transitioned from a career in education to pursue her ambition of working with Family Wise, a company spearheaded by renowned entrepreneur Kirsty Gray.
“I am truly loving my new role, I have always craved a fast-paced atmosphere, and I am a people person at heart. The blend of time-critical work and the chance to engage with a variety of different people is ideal for me.
"On top of that, I have always wanted a job that revolved around helping people, and that is the entire purpose of Family Wise. I am blessed enough to work with incredibly intelligent but also compassionate people, who share my love for wanting to do everything we can to help the families we work with.”
Erin joins a team of 40 professionals at Family Wise, who work globally to assist individuals in building their family trees, aid organisations in locating individuals from the past, and trace lost heirs, all while upholding the highest ethical standards.
The company operates from its office in Calne High Street.
“It’s been brilliant to welcome Erin to the team,” stated Kirsty Gray, Founder of Family Wise.
“We’re a friendly and supportive team and we work at a fast pace from delving into records and archives, to travelling around meeting people and listening to their stories, right through to supporting people in finding out about their ancestors.
"It’s an exciting and often emotional journey and we love what we do.”
Staples believes she has found her ideal career path: “Success to me is happiness. I have struggled for a long time with a lack of motivation due to being unhappy in my job roles. I never felt that I was making a difference. Knowing now that I have a positive impact on people’s lives makes me feel successful.”
Family Wise was established in 2012 by Kirsty Gray, initially as a "side hustle" alongside her career as a schoolteacher, fueled by her passion for genealogy and helping others research their family history. In 2013, Kirsty took the leap to formally launch Family Wise as a full-time venture.
