A Calne hair salon is celebrating its first birthday later this month.
Nova Hair Salon, in Church Street, will mark one year of trading on Wednesday, 26th August.
Salon director Hannah Whiston opened Nova with the aim of offering clients a personal, one-to-one experience in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The salon is also a Full Circle salon, meaning its waste is diverted from landfill, with hair among the materials that are recycled.
Nova is dog friendly too, allowing clients to bring their four-legged friends along with them.
To mark its first birthday, the salon is running a competition on its Facebook and Instagram pages, Nova Hair and Nails.
There are three prizes up for grabs: a free cut and finish with a hair treatment, a free blow dry with a hair treatment, and a bag of hair goodies.
To enter, people need to like the salon's page, share the competition post and tag a friend. An extra entry is available for leaving a review.
The competition closes on 15th September, 2026, with winners to be notified through social media.
Hannah said: “It’s been an incredible first year of trading and we have some fantastic loyal clients. We are super proud to be a full circle salon which is environmentally friendly.”
Nova Hair Salon is at 15 Church Street, Calne, SN11 0HY. The salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays and every alternate Saturday.
