DRIVERS are being asked to check their dashcam footage after a delivery van was stolen in Corsham yesterday morning (12/10).

The silver Vauxhall Vivaro van registration LD05 NXR was parked on Newlands Road in Corsham with the keys inside, whilst the driver mad a delivery nearby.

The opportunist thief jumped in the van and drove it off towards Corsham town centre and then towards the A4.

He is described as a white man aged in his late 30s, with a dark stubbly beard, wearing a dark cap and black hoody.

PC William Baker said: “I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, including anyone who was in the area who may have dash cam footage. We believe the vehicle may have been driven down Cross Keys Road or Newlands Road between 11.35am and 11.45am. If you were in the area, please review your dash cam footage as you may have captured an image of the suspect.”
