Police have confirmed that a motorcyclist has died following a collision near Devizes this morning. (27/7).
The fatal collision happened at about 10.10am on the A342 Monument Hill where a motorbike was involved in a collision with a Citroen van.
Sadly, the motorcyclist – a man in his 60s from Melksham - died at the scene. The driver of the van was uninjured.
A road closure was put in place on the A342 between Upavon and Monument Hill whilst the incident was dealt with and investigations were carried out.
Any witnesses to the collision should call 101 and quote log number 114 of July 27.
