Police have said they are investigating reports that a fox has been illegally killed during a hunt in the Luckington area.
Officers from Chippenham are looking into an incident reported in the Church Road area of Luckington.
During the incident, a drone was seized by an officer after it was allegedly being flown illegally without maintaining line of sight at all times.
The Beaufort Hunt, also known as The Duke of Beaufort’s Hunt, is one of the main hunts operating in and around Luckington and the wider north Wiltshire and Cotswolds area. However, police have not confirmed whether any particular hunt was involved in the reported incident.
Wiltshire Police say enquiries are ongoing to establish exactly what happened.
