Part of the A342 near Bromham is subject to a temporary road closure to allow Openreach to carry out urgent ducting works.

A Wiltshire Council notice states that the closure affects a 40-metre stretch of the A342 from its junction with the A3102, in a south-easterly direction.
The works are scheduled to take place until Friday 16th October, between 8am and 6pm. The notice has a maximum duration of five days.
A signed diversion route will take traffic along the unaffected section of the A342, the A3102, A350 and A4 before rejoining the A342.
Access for residents and businesses will be maintained where possible, although delays are likely.
Drivers are advised to follow diversion signs and allow extra time for their journeys.
