Motorists are being warned of a temporary road closure in Compton Bassett tomorrow, to allow urgent cabling works to take place.

Wiltshire Council has said that part of the C15 will be closed on Friday 13th March from 9am.

The closure will affect the C15 in Compton Bassett from its junction with Briar Leaze for approximately 650 metres heading north.

The works are being carried out by Openreach to complete urgent cabling and associated work.

The road will be closed between 9am and 3pm and is expected to last one day, although the official notice allows the closure to remain in place for up to five days if required.

A signed diversion will be in place via:

C15 (unaffected section) → A4 → Curzon Street → The Square → Wood Street → Oxford Road → A3102 → C15 (unaffected section).

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although motorists should expect delays while the work is carried out.
