MOTORISTS are reporting severe delays today when travelling between Calne and Chippenham as planned roadworks take place.
The works have caused the closure of one lane and traffic management from A4 South East from Pewsham Roundabout to junction with A342.
The Wiltshire Council notice states that restrictions will be in place from today, 7th March to 13th March for Scottish and Southern Power to complete necessary works.
Drivers have reported long delays with traffic queuing and journeying between Pewsham and Black Dog taking as much 45 minutes to clear.
Consequently, buses are delayed in the area too affecting onward travel by train. Allow extra time if you are heading that way.
