Motorists in Calne are being warned to expect a temporary 30mph speed limit on part of the A3102 from Tuesday, 7th October 2025.
The restriction will apply between the roundabout at Stickleback Road and the roundabout at Oxford Road, and is expected to remain in place until 27th October 2025, while urgent works are carried out.
Wiltshire Council says the reduced limit, introduced under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, will be clearly signposted throughout the works period.
Drivers are advised to take extra care and allow additional time for their journeys.
