Roadworks on the Calne bypass are set to enter a new phase next week, with the full closure between Tesco and Stanier Road due to be lifted.
From Wednesday,18th March, the closure will be replaced with two-way traffic lights along the A3102 bypass. The lights will run from the entrance to Beversbrook Sports Facility along the bypass up to the newly surfaced section of the road.

As part of the next stage of the works, the lower section of Stanier Road between the A3102 and the entrance to the Masonic Lodge will close to traffic.
Access to the Masonic Lodge will remain available during the works.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for journeys while the temporary lights are in place.
Cllr Sam Pearce-Kearney told Calne News: "The work to level the bypass is a massive job and I’m pleased to see it is progressing well. I would like to thank the community for their patience and apologise for the inconvenience."
